It is a time when we all get together to make new friends as we camp, play games, compete and worship together. In fact this camp format is so popular, we decided to add a second family camp - Indian Summer Family Camp.
This really laid-back camp is designed for all ages. We will have Hawk and Knife Throws, Black Powder shooting, Archery, Spear throwing, Marbles, even kids games everyone is welcome to partake in. Every family will be asked to run one of our games so there will be a wide variety a fun. There’ will also be a Pot Luck on Saturday night where you can show off your cooking skills and enjoy food and fellowship with everyone.
This camp starts on Friday night and runs thru Saturday night, but you are welcome to spend a second night if you wish. Of course frontier-style camping and outfits is encouraged, but don’t let that stop you! Come in whatever form of camping you wish – pop-up tent, RV or bus – bring it and enjoy! Fall Trace 2012 Fall Trace Packet & Registration Fall Trace is a time where all Frontiersmen compete to show their proficiency in frontier-living skills. Those who have passed all criteria, advance to Buckskin during a special FCF camp fire ceremony (contact me to see what you need). New members that completed JFC have the unique opportunity to pick through the spoils on the gift blanket of items donated by other members, so don't miss this opportunity to get nice, free supplies to get you started on your new FCF adventure! We also elect the FCF Scout and Assistant Scout positions at this camp so practice, practice, practice! Candidates will compete in frontier skills and will be voted in by their peers for this highly coveted position of service.
We look forward to fellowshipping with you!
Advancement Weekend/JFC This camp is open to all boys and men that have completed The Trail of The Grizzly and wish to join FCF. It is also where "Old Timers" can domonstrate thier skills for advancement up the ranks in FCF. Either way,you will be submerged into frontier-style living with no modern amenities - an incredible experience! This camp teaches you the basics of frontier living. It starts Friday morning and runs until Sunday afternoon and gear, food and lodging is provided. The motto of FCF is Adere Severe (To Give and to Serve). And that is exactly what we do. The aim is to train men and boys to be completely self-sufficient so that they can serve on mission trips in remote areas. Imagine being part of a team that has been sent to lash a church together from materials in the Amazon jungle, living off the land so as to not be a burden on the local community! FCF exposes boys and men to the historical life our counrty was built on. You will live like a frontiersnam for a few days which allows you to see what God made for you, drawing you closer to Him. This camp qualifies as one of the adventures towards your Sabor for the Academy. It is designed for both boys and men to enhance their outdoor camping skills beyond modern camp. As men we are there to mentor these boys in daily living and spirtual life – teach what you know, learn what you don't. Craft Weekend 2012 Craft Weekend Packet & Registration   Craft Weekend is a great time to meet with God and your fellow FCF brothers as we make items we need or want to trade. You are welcome to bring your own project to work on or sign up for one of the special projects we have planned for you. This your we have many project options for you: Sheep Dog will be available to help those who want to finish their primitive bows; you can make a fur hat; a brass-tack sheath or you can try your hand at beading. The Blacksmith shop will also be open for those who are feeling strong, but our main focus will be on making various bags - possibles bags, messenger bags, satchels, pouches, marble bags, etc. Seasoned FCF members will be available to help you determine the correct style and functionality of the bag that suits your persona and you will receive expert instruction on how to correctly construct your project. All supplies will be provided for those that registered before the deadline. This camp runs Friday night and all day Saturday. All Saturday meals are provided and we will be sleeping in the Training Center, so there is no need for camping and cooking gear, but grab dinner on your way to camp and plan on picking up breakfast after you leave on Sunday if you decide to spend an extra night with us. Of course you need to bring your Bible, bedding, clothing and toiletries but you may also bring items to trade or project supplies to share.
Winter Trace The FCF camping season will be starting soon so we have a special camp to help motivate and encourage you. Winter Trace is a great time to reconnect with your FCF brothers and with GOD as we worship together, play indoor games that frontiersmen would have played years ago and research our personas. You will have the chance to meet with very knowledgable FCF members that will help you plan your outfit and even help you shop for it!  As a group, we will be visiting the Echos of the Past Rendezvous Trading Fair again this year to look around, learn from others and purchase items for our outfits and supplies. We will help you locate that hard-to-find item or to pick out the bargain you can purchase for your outfit. For new members this is a great opportunity to figure out what persona you want to portray or what trade interests you.

Bring your favorite board game, a camera and money. Although outfits are optional, some of us will be wearing them to the fair. Come expecting God to change your life.

Pathfinder Projects

Missions / Pathfinders

FCF member, as you know FCF is all about giving and serving. We do this in many ways but I want to focus on projects. Missions projects or Pathfinder Project and yes they do over lap some. Missions is typically local projects they we can go and do for Individual, businesses, churches, schools, etc… The boys need service hours to advance in rangers why not combine service work with FCF missions projects. Men we are called to mentor the boys. All of this can be done as a missions project. We would like to split up the state in regions and have members in each region do projects near them to deduce on travel time and expenses. Pathfinders is a term for bigger projects domestic and international. If you or your church is heading to a foreign county to serve, let us know. There may be others that are looking for a trip but just can’t find the right one. If you have a call to a certain country or people group let us know we can help you get connected with a group going. We are linked into the national office and there are many missions projects scheduled throughout the year to places all over the world. They may be looking for a person like you with exactly your skill set. Please contact our missions coordinator Bruce “Edierscall” Dailey with ideas so we can help promote them for you as well as track our time to the national office. Promoting will help you with more manpower and resources. Bruce Dailey can be reached at 920 277 1173 or at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots.
