INSTRUCTOR CERTIFICATION SEMINAR

^REQUIREMENTS

^{1. Pass the ICS open book exam.}

^{2. Be involved in Royal Rangers as a Commander for a minimum of 2 years.}

^{3. Completed the Leaders Medal of Achievement (LMA) or LMA Transition Course.}

^{4. Successfully complete all modules that you would like to be an instructor of.}

^{5. Be a graduate of a National Rangers Ministry Camp}

^{*NTC if you plan to instruct commanders who work with  Discovery, Adventure, or Expedition Rangers}

^{*RKTC if you plan to instruct commanders who will be working with Ranger Kids}

^{6. Renewal of ICS Certification is every two years}

^{"This class is by invitation only. You must be approved by your pastor, and by either the District Commander or District Training Coordinator in order to become an instructor.}

^{EXPLANATION OF TRAINING}

^{ICS is designed to help you become a trainer of Royal Ranger Commanders. This course will qualify you to teach Ranger Basics and other advanced modules to help Ranger Commanders complete their LMA. All trainer in the district who become ICS certified report directly to the District Training Coordinator. You will be required to teach a minimum of 5 hours per year at an approved WNMD Training Seminar. You must be re-certified every two years and maintain a good standing in your local church. You may be called on to participate in sectional or local training activities from time to time. You can request to teach aclass at a local church or in  your secdtion by filling out a Outpost/Section Training Request Form. All classes must be pre-approved.}
